Givens Gerber Park in south Asheville features HUD-subsidized and tax-credit apartments in Buildings 40 and 50 for lower-income older adults, alongside moderate-income options in Building 60. This dynamic campus offers broader resources than typically expected at a rental retirement community. Conveniently located within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies, residents enjoy peace of mind and thrive with abundant onsite amenities and services, including garden beds, library, computers, an on-site clinic, Community Nurse and Resident Services Coordinators.

Givens Gerber Park features attractive common areas that optimize opportunities to socialize and build new friendships. Some residents choose to stay close to home to participate in wellness programs, socialize with friends in the on-campus cafe, or engage in enriching activities. Others continue to work, volunteer in the community, or enjoy all that Asheville offers.

Givens Great Laurels in Waynesville, overlooking Lake Junaluska, provides mountain views and supportive services in a conveniently accessible location. With enclosed climate-controlled corridors and common areas, including a community room with full kitchen for private events and activities, residents can embrace a meaningful sense of confidence thanks to the support they receive. Available are health and wellness programs, community nurse, resident services coordinators, full grounds and facility maintenance and a partnership with Manna Food Bank for nutritional needs.

New affordable living projects are in the works, with planned additions including Givens Webster Village in Jackson County near Western Carolina University, which will offer 120 affordable senior apartments in partnership with regional organizations. In McDowell County is the exciting Clinchfield Mill Project, where a historic textile mill site will be repurposed into 141 affordable and mixed-income apartments for seniors.
